Thermoelectric signature of the mixed axial-gravitational anomaly

In plain words

A temperature gradient along a magnetic field in a Weyl semimetal should drive an extra current tied to a gravitational quantum anomaly, and the single reported observation needs confirmation.

Precise statement

The mixed axial-gravitational anomaly predicts a positive, quadratic-in-B contribution to the longitudinal thermoelectric conductance of a Weyl semimetal, with a temperature dependence fixed by the anomaly coefficient. Gooth et al. (Nature, 2017) reported such a contribution in NbP. Determine whether the effect is reproduced in other Weyl semimetals and separated from phonon drag and current jetting. An answer is yes or no with quantitative agreement in magnitude and temperature dependence.

What would settle it

Independent magneto-thermoelectric measurements in at least two Weyl semimetals with known node band parameters, matching the predicted magnitude.
