Emergence of spacetime from quantum entanglement
This text mentions work from 2024 on. Those parts were partly written without a live literature search and have not been checked by an editor yet.
In holography, the geometry of space inside appears to be built from how strongly parts of the boundary system are entangled, meaning quantum-mechanically linked. The rules of this construction are only partly known.
Why it matters
It may explain what spacetime is made of and why gravity obeys Einstein's equations.
